SAVED BY GRACE
This 9x6.5 handmade wood framed vintage hymn is the perfect addition to floating shelves, a mantle, an end table next to a couch, hanging on a gallery wall~your faith on display. A thoughtful housewarming gift, birthday, baptism, holiday, wedding or anniversary gift. This vintage hymn can be a special reminder of the times you spent in church, songs your granparents sang, or just a reminder of your faith.
Each hymn is vintage. Each one is unique. It is taken from a 1936 hymnal which guarantees it to have all the wonderful character that only something valued and treasured can have. All pages show some wear, as they are over 80 years old. There may be original pen or pencil marks, small tears on edges that are glued down or small folds on the corners. I will do the best as I can to keep them in the condition in which they were found because there is so much beauty in that. Each frame is handmade and stained by myself, with all the character of knots and wood grains varying. I have some hymns in multiples, so the photo you see may not be the exact one you'll receive, but the only difference will be the look of the wood frame.
Someday the silver cord will break,
And I no more as now shall sing;
But, oh, the joy when I shall wake
Within the palace of the King!
And I shall see Him face to face,
And tell the story—Saved by grace.
Someday my earthly house will fall;
I cannot tell how soon ’twill be;
But this I know—my All in All
Has now a place in heav’n for me.
Someday, when fades the golden sun
Beneath the rosy tinted west,
My blessed Lord will say, “Well done!”
And I shall enter into rest.
Someday: till then I’ll watch and wait,
My lamp all trimmed and burning bright,
That when my Savior opes the gate,
My soul to Him may take its flight.
